About
Emma Scully is a West Cork based artist working across a variety of mediums.
In 2022 she completed a BA in Fine Art Print at the National College of Art & Design. Her degree show, I Will Serviva, which won a number of awards, can be found here.
Her socially engaged practice is rooted in feminism and surrealism, exploring solitude, the human form, and the Irish landscape.
Activism is central to her practice, from collaborative projects with people experiencing homelessness to the LGBTQ+ community.
Alongside her studio practice, she is an arts facilitator and educator, working in healthcare settings with Arts for Health, and leading workshops and courses that make creativity accessible to all.
Her work has been shown nationally and internationally, from Dublin, Cork, and Belfast to London, New York, Chicago and Miami.
